Protect and serve Fills Need
Protect and serve police Gear opened last week. The store of the new law enforcement supply responds to a need in Pasco County area. This is the first store of its kind in the region. The evil demograpgic police and staff Public Safety is excited about the new small business. The owners work the police in neighboring Pinellas County.
Protect and Serve owners, Cathi and Logan Long term have a combined service record of more than 20 years military and police professions. Cathi served 10 years in the United States Navy and has over 7 years experience in the street, she also holds a BA in sociology. Logan has served 8 years in the army and was a street cop for 7 years and is on a SWAT team. Logan has a Bachelor of Administration and Public Safety is seeking a master's degree in the same.
"The knowledge and experience of these two bring to the table is why this case will succeed," said an officer of the local law enforcement questioned during the soft opening.
Cathi said: "We saw a need in community and it fills. Being in public safety in these times is hard enough, we want to help serve those who serve the community. " The Longs focus is law enforcement, but they intend to serve Fire, EMS and security personnel as well. Protect and Serve Facebook has recently been given promotions on their Facebook page and just recently launched their web page: www.protectandservegear.com .
The new store is still their inventory of equipment of police and will host a grand opening some time in April 2011. Protect and serve, is currently in various tactical equipment from several manufacturers. The store offers a wide variety of products and equipment. Cathi said: "We know that the things we sell works because we have used ourselves in the street in real world situations." One of their services will store gun cleaning ultrasound. Cathi and Logan are open to suggestions and requests from local organizations and staff who help provide the best quality products and services to the arena of public safety. The store is located at 6131 State Road 54 New Port Richey, FL 34653 in Elfers Square Plaza.

Logan served 8 years in the Army and has been a street cop for 7 years and is on a SWAT team, and Honor Guard.
